Monday weather forecast
Compliments of a weak cold front that slid through the area overnight, temperatures were starting off chillier this morning and they will be slow to warm throughout the day. Clouds are a bit stubborn so that should keep temperatures from warming too much, as well. This week, we're tracking two additional cold fronts that should move through Tuesday/Wednesday weather Friday. The Friday front appears to be significant and could bring higher rain chances to the area. While Thanksgiving looks mostly dry, there is a slight chance we see showers, but they won't be areawide.

Monday morning weather forecast
We are expecting a few ups and downs with the temperature this week but nothing too dramatic either way. Looks like Thanksgiving Day will fall between fronts and that should mean pleasant temps and no rain. Look for the coolest and wettest days coming next weekend.

Houston-area weather forecast 11/22
We kick off Thanksgiving week on a slightly cooler note, but we are still running more than 10 degrees above our seasonal averages. Rain chances will remain slim on Sunday, but we are expecting a cold front to slide through later this evening. The other two fronts are expected to arrive on Tuesday night and again on Friday. It does look like our rain chances increase as we near Thanksgiving. While we're still anticipating a mostly dry Thanksgiving, a few showers can't be ruled out. Best shot at seeing rain will be on Friday into Saturday.

Pleasant fall weather
Pleasant fall weather will stay in place all week long. Lows will drop into the 40s over the next couple of days and highs will be in the 70s. Sunday will bring a slight chance for some rain, but it doesn?t look very soggy. Meanwhile, Hurricane Iota has weakened slightly as it makes landfall in Nicaragua with winds at 155 mph. It will continue to become less organized as it sweeps toward the Pacific Ocean. It looks like yet another system may form near this same area later this week.
