THE WOODLANDS, Texas - A teenage boy was killed at a home in The Woodlands in what appears to be an accidental shooting, authorities say. Another teen has now been charged in connection.

What we know:
The shooting was reported just after 4 a.m. Thursday at a home on Redberry Court.
Deputies attempted lifesaving measures, but the teen did not survive his injuries.
The sheriff’s office says the preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting appears to be accidental.
Authorities later shared that another teen, 17-year-old Easton Spoklie, was arrested and charged with criminally negligent homicide.
