Woman dead, man injured in double north Houston shooting

HOUSTON - A woman in her early 20s is dead, and a man in his 40s was injured after a double shooting late Saturday night in Houston's Eastex-Jensen area, according to the Houston Police Department.
It happened in the 3800 block of Hage, which is not far from Eastex Fwy. and Tidwell Road.

What we know:
Houston Police officers say just before midnight on Saturday, officers found a woman in her early 20s with a gunshot wound to her stomach.
Emergency responders began CPR and took her to a nearby hospital where she died shortly after arrival.
A man in his late 40s was found at the scene with gunshot wounds to the shoulder and chest. Officials say he was shot at least two times. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Investigators say the man and woman were involved in a "physical altercation" when the shooting happened.

Officers say the nature of the relationship between the man and woman is under investigation.
Investigators are trying to determine if the man and woman shot each other.
