'No credible threats' to Willis HS after image circulates online, district says
WILLIS, Texas - Willis ISD says there is no known danger to Willis High School after images showed an alleged threat against the school.

What we know:
Willis ISD officials say that the image that raised concerns among parents and students originally circulated in December 2021 and is being shared again.
The school district says Montgomery County Sheriff's Office investigators reviewed the report and said that no credible threats have been identified and that there is no known danger to students, staff or school facilities.
The district asked students and parents to tell law enforcement about concerns, instead of reshaping unverified information online so as not to create fear and confusion.
Students and parents can also report suspicious activity on the K12 Anonymous Alert system.
What we don't know:
The district did not say how they believe the social media posts resurfaced.
