                The search is on for the drunk driver who police say hit a man in a restaurant parking lot at Channelside and San Antonio.

                HPD is trying to figure out if the suspect hit the man on purpose or accidently. The victim is hospitalized in serious condition.

 

In San Antonio one person is still missing after flash flood waters in a creek swept four people off their feet drowning at least one while two others were rescued. One man was able to swim out on his own and another was rescued. Recovery efforts for the missing person are expected to begin later this morning.

 

The country looks back at the September 11th terror attacks that forever changed our world. There will be remembrances at ground zero in New York City in Shanksville, Pennsylvania and at the pentagon along with ceremonies across the nation. In the Houston area Atascocita High School in the Humble ISD will hold a remembrance at its flag pole this morning.

 

A marine was killed and 18 others injured in a vehicle rollover crash at camp Pendleton in California during routine training. Several of the injured marines were taken to the hospital. Camp Pendleton is the major west coast outpost for the Marine Corps.

 

Vice president Joe Biden says he is still overwhelmed by his son's death and questioning if he could fully commit to being president. Last night, Biden was a guest on "the late show with Stephen Colbert" but instead of a comedic tone, Things took a very serious and somber turn.
