A fight between two teenage boys, over a girlfriend, led to a shootout at a Montgomery county apartment complex on Richards near Woodline.  A 17-year-old man brought a gun and a group of friends to the victim's apartment to confront him. The victim and his mother exchanged fire with the group. The teen was hit in the arm. Police expect to make an arrest soon.



A federal judge has dismissed Chad Holley's civil rights lawsuit.  He’s the teen once at the center of a Houston police brutality case.  The lawsuit, which was filed in 2010, claimed city policies were what caused the officers' conduct.  Holley can still appeal the dismissal of the suit.


Three people were shot last night at a shopping mall in Indianapolis. One of the victims is in critical condition. A store mall employee says she saw someone shot inside the target store and another person shot in the main mall area. No word yet on any possible suspects.


Last night marked the third republican debate hosted by CNBC in Colorado. This debate focused on the economy. The candidates say the moderators' questions were hostile and based on inaccurate premises.

            The next republican showdown is set for November 10th in Milwaukee on the FOX business channel.
