Arson investigators are trying to determine what sparked a fire at a three-story retirement apartment complex.  Early this morning, crews found flames coming from the building on MacGregor near Calhoun, they were able to help everybody escape. One resident was rushed to the hospital for smoke inhalation, several others were treated on the scene for breathing difficulties.

Three suspected carjackers are in custody after robbing a woman early this morning. Police say that four men demanded the woman’s purse then took off in her car. Officers tried to stop the car but the driver just kept going. He then crashed into a parked car on Hare near the East Freeway. All four men hopped out and tried to run away, officers managed to catch three of them. The woman was not injured.
