Three dogs killed in house fire

A fire in the town of Rendon, near Fort Worth, has left three dogs dead and a house with significant burn damage. A neighbor contacted 911 and reported the fire at a home on Oak Court near Oak Street.

According to the Rendon Fire Department, several other fire departments arrived to the home and assisted in putting out the fire. The owner of the house escaped from the flames but was not able to save his dogs. He suffered cuts to his hand after busting it through a window. 

The man was the only member of his family home at the time of the fire. He is in stable condition at a hospital.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
