Suspicious package determined to be 'hoax device'
The Harris County Sheriff's Office says a suspicious package in west Harris County was a "hoax device".
The sheriff's office say the device was never capable of any danger.
EOD technicians with the sheriff's office recovered the device near Clay Road and Barker Cypress on Monday evening.
Westbound traffic on Clay Road was temporarily shut down while deputies inspected the suspicious package.
