The Brief

    • Crews plan to close three southbound lanes of I-69 every night from Thursday through Monday.

FORT BEND COUNTY - TXDOT crews are planning a nightly partial shutdown of the Southwest Freeway to handle some emergency repairs.

What we know:

The shutdown is planned to run every night from Thursday, July 31, to Monday, August 4, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Crews will close off three southbound lanes of Interstate 69 from Summit Creek Drive to Williams Way Boulevard.

The closure is scheduled to run through Monday night, but it could end earlier if the repairs are finished sooner.
