Second suspect in Jazmine Barnes' shooting death denies involvement in her murder

The lawyer for the man accused in the death of 7-year old Jazmine Barnes said accused gunman, Larry Woodruffe has denied involvement in Jazmine's murder.  Attorney Lisa Andrews requested his trail be moved from Harris County on Thursday morning.

24-year old Larry Woodruffe faced a judge for the first time Thursday morning since being charged with capital murder.  His lawyer, Lisa Andrews filed a change of venue motion during the hearing. Andrews is concerned that social media and the attention the case garnered  may not give her client the right to a fair trial.

Andrews is also asking city leaders  to comply with the code professional responsibility.  She believes law enforcement and leaders in the community may have a bias towards Woodruffe. Woodruffe's alleged accomplice, Eric Black Jr. is also charged with capital murder.

Both are being held without bond.
