Puppies stolen from a family's backyard

MISSOURI CITY, Texas (FOX 26) - The Olympia Estates in Missouri City is a quiet, dog-friendly subdivision, but on Wednesday, three American Bully puppies were taken from a backyard. Now the homeowners are left heartbroken and asking the question, what kind of person steals puppies from a family?

The Joyson’s took in the three American Bully puppies from a relative three months ago, and they instantly became part of the family.

It was Wednesday morning when Adolf Joyson went to feed the 4-month-old pups that slept in a kennel in the backyard. That’s when he found all three dogs were gone.

“I seen two of our fences were broken and kicked out beside our fence, the back. I was really sad I called the cops that instant. They came in they told me it’s too hard to find people, yeah and I was sad.“ said Joyson.

The family says their neighborhood is safe and never heard of anyone else here having their dog stolen. But they have an idea of who may be responsible. There are construction workers who have been working in the area and can see into the Joyson’s backyard.

American Bully’s are a rare breed and usually fetches a high price tag. The family says one of the workers asked how much they would sell the puppies for, they declined the offer. Now they are hoping that the person who took the dogs, has the heart to give them back.

“I’m hoping that I really get them back because I’m really doing the best I can do you know posting pictures and sending messages to everyone I know and all,” Joyson says.
