Protests escalate in Hong Kong over extradition bill
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A trade war with the US isn't the only thing the Chinese government is dealing with.
Tensions are escalating between them and Hong Kong as anti-Beijing protests enter their third month. They're demonstrating against a bill that would allow suspects to face trials in China's mainland.
Police were spotted in riot gear while firing tear gas at a group of demonstrators burning what they call "hell money" outside of a police station.
