HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Houston police say a man has died after he got out of a car on the highway and was struck by another vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to the Gulf Freeway around 1:40 a.m. and found a man in the roadway with severe injuries. A nurse who was driving by stopped to give CPR. He died at the scene.
According to police, two men were arguing when one decided to get out of the vehicle on the freeway. Police say he was stuck by another vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the man stopped at the scene. Police say the driver is not believed to be intoxicated and no charges are expected to be filed.
