One man killed, another injured in double shooting

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A suspect is on the run after Houston police say he shot two people outside a convenience store, killing one of them. It happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Buffalo Speedway at West Fuqua.

Police say a man and woman were arguing outside the store, when for unknown reasons another man drove up, pulled out a gun and shot the man arguing in the leg.  Officers say he also shot another man by accident in the chest. That man died at the hospital.

Police say the shooter left in a gray colored vehicle, and the woman also took off. 

At this point, homicide investigators believe the man who died may have been an innocent bystander.
