3 children shot in Harris County after allegedly attempting to rob man
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - An investigation is ongoing after a group of juveniles accused of attempted robbery were shot, Harris County Sheriff's Office officials say.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reports officials were called to the 12700 block of North Houston Rosslyn Road about a shooting around midnight.
When they arrived, they found three juveniles injured with gunshot wounds. A fourth juvenile and an adult were detained at the scene.
According to initial information, the kids between the ages of 12 and 14-years-old allegedly attempted to rob a man with what appeared to be weapons.

The victim pulled out his own weapon and shot at the juveniles, said HCSO Major Suarez. The three injured were taken to hospitals with two said to be in fair condition, but the third was last said to be in critical condition.
Sheriff Gonzalez said the victim and alleged shooter stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials. His weapon was retrieved by law enforcement.
