NFL running back Adrian Peterson to lead Sunnyside peace walk

Running back Adrian Peterson is number 12 on the list for the most career rushing yards in NFL history.

Right now, he's using his talent to bring awareness to gun violence and also mold young athletes for a bright career. Next month he will help lead the Stop the Violence Peace Walk.

Peterson's passion for the peace walk stems from his personal experience of losing his brother to gun violence in Sunnyside. His brother's murder case remains unsolved.

Peterson is now taking action to provide young people the resources they need to succeed.
