Mayor, HPD ask public for help finding shooters who wounded boy, 4

Another senseless shooting in our city ends with a 4-year-old in the hospital.

It had the mayor and police chief angry this week. Police say two groups of people got into a gunfight at the Kings Row Apartment Complex on Barberry Drive in Sunnyside Tuesday night. A bullet tore through an apartment wall hitting 4-year-old Romeo Milam, who was watching TV.

Mayor Sylvester Turner and HPD Chief Art Acevedo have made a plea for help finding the shooters.

On the Factor with her own plea for an end to the gun violence in her neighborhood is Romeo’s grandmother Lori Ann Milam and his godmother Debria Brown.
