Man found shot dead in east Harris County home construction site

CHANNELVIEW, Texas (FOX 26) - Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at a home construction site.

Someone found the body on Wednesday afternoon on Bonita Grulla Way near Lariat Ridge Trail in the Channelview area.

After reviewing surveillance video, deputies said they were searching for two suspects in a Dodge van. One suspect was described as a black male who stands at a height of 5-feet 11-inches tall with a green shirt, dark pants, a black cap and a mask. The second suspect was described as a black or Hispanic male with a medium build, blue shirt and a mask.

The van was later recovered on Rockcreek Lane near Fallow Lane in northeast Harris County.
