Man barricaded in residence shuts down apartment complex in northwest Harris County
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The Harris County Sheriff's Department is responding to a man barricaded inside an apartment complex.
Shortly after 5 p.m. deputies were called to the Copperwood Ranch Apartments at 6833 Lakeview Haven Drive near Smithstone in northwest Harris County.
It's unclear if the man is armed or if anyone else is in the apartment with him. Residents at the complex tell us that those in surrounding units have been moved to a safer area.
