Man with backpack of drugs, loaded gun arrested in north Houston
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A suspected drug dealer has been arrested in Harris County, according to the Harris County Constables Office Precinct 4.
Deputies were called to North Sam Houston Parkway near Antoine Drive in North Houston on Saturday for reports of a suspicious person selling drugs and armed with a gun.
When deputies arrived, they found a man matching the description. He was identified as 31-year-old Fabian Middleton.
During the investigation, Middleton was carrying a backpack that had a loaded handgun, 100 grams of cocaine, nearly five ounces of marijuana and nearly 2,000 grams of Promethazine.
He was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. He has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of marijuana.
His bond has been set at $68,000.
