Lockdown lifted at Ben Taub after "credible threat" cleared

The lockdown at Houston's Ben Taub has been lifted after a "credible threat" was cleared.

The lockdown went into place at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The hospital, which is located in the Texas Medical Center, followed security protocol to keep patients and staff safe as the threat was investigated.

Normal operations resumed about an hour later.

No word on what the threat was.
