K-9 Titan recovering after he was shot in the leg while tracking suspect

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida - A K-9 that was shot while searching for a suspect last week is now walking!

K-9 Titan of the St. Petersburg Police Department was shot in the leg while tracking a suspect, the department says.

The department says a Pinellas County sheriff’s sergeant was also shot during the ordeal.

St. Petersburg PD says it will be a while before Titan returns to work, but we are excited to see his fast recovery. They hope he goes home next week.
