James Harden's restaurant sued, alleges driver was overserved, led to crash that killed 7 people

James Harden’s restaurant is being sued in connection with a deadly crash that happened last November.

Seven people were killed when authorities say Christian Herrera ran a red light and t-boned another vehicle on Fannin Street.

The family of Taylar Jackson is suing Harden's restaurant group, claiming Herrera was over served alcohol at "13 By James Harden".

Jackson was a passenger in the vehicle hit by Herrera.

According to the lawsuit, Jackson ultimately died from injuries she sustained in the crash.

A representative for the restaurant group offered their condolences to the Jackson family and said, "we were just made aware of the filing of this lawsuit. We ask for your patience as we gather more information on this filing."

Three former University of Houston football players were also killed in the crash.
