It was time to go head to head on the court - law enforcement officers and some of Houston biggest names in rap.

The goal was to start a dialogue between the African-American community and police.

Houston along with other cities around the country are at a boiling point when it comes to community police relations. That's why Latasha Eleby came up with the idea to use basketball and the game as a spring board for young people to get involved.

While the game was competitive, the focus remained unity. That's why businesses like Double Doze Entertainment, Straight Lace, and V-Live Houston stepped up to the plate to sponsor the event and the teams.

And that's why rappers like Kirko Bangz say this game is so important for the community to see that police officers are simply people too.
