HOUSTON - Houston police are searching for a gunman after a deadly shooting at an apartment complex Monday morning.
Man shot to death in southwest Houston
What we know:
Houston police responded to a shooting call in the 9300 block of Woodfair Drive around 4 a.m.
A man, believed to be in his 40s, was shot at least once and died at the scene.
Police say it appears that the man was walking towards the parking lot when the shooter approached and fired multiple shots.
What we don't know:
It’s unclear why the shooting occurred, but police say it appears to have been premeditated.
Search for the gunman
Police say the gunman fled the scene. He has not been identified.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male in his 30s or 40s wearing dark pants and a dark hoodie.
