Man shot, killed at Houston apartment complex near Brays Bayou, police say
HOUSTON - Houston Police investigators are investigating a deadly shooting that was reported near Brays Bayou, according to the department.

What we know:
The shooting was reported at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday at an apartment complex in the 3500 block of North MacGregor Way, near Tierwester Street.
When first responders arrived, they were directed to an apartment where they found a deceased man with gunshot wounds.
According to HPD Lieutenant Larry Crowson, a woman and two children were also found in the apartment, but they were OK.

One man was found shot to death inside an apartment on Thursday, July 31. HPD Lieutenant Larry Crowson provided early information at the scene.
It's believed the shooting happened after a fight in the parking lot between the victim and a group of males. Everyone who was involved allegedly entered the apartment, and the victim was shot.
Police say two men were seen leaving the scene. They possibly drove off in a silver sedan.
What we don't know:
No one has been identified at this time. In a Friday update, police say the victim was a 25-year-old man.
There is no information on a possible motive.
What's next:
Lt. Crowson said the woman and children who were in the apartment were taken to a police station to give a statement.
Investigators will be talking to witnesses and gathering any possible surveillance footage.
