Houston police officer shot in the leg

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A Houston police officer was shot in the leg Wednesday afternoon.

It happened in the Third Ward.

The officer has been transported to Memorial Hermann hospital.

It's unknown at this time what led to the shooting.
