Houston Hot Spot for Takata Airbag Recalls
HOUSTON (FOX-26) - The Takata airbag recall is the Nation's largest auto recall ever.
Since long-time exposure to heat and humidity can deteriorate the chemical that causes the airbags to explode, Houston drivers are more at risk than in other parts of the county.
Estimates are as many as 275,000 Houstonians are still driving vehicles with the defective airbag inflators. And older vehicles, 2001 thru 2003 Honda and Acura’s, are the most at risk. Drivers need to act now.
