Homicide investigators recover body in Spring

Homicide investigators have recovered a body in a wooded area in Spring, the Harris County Sheriff's Office says. Identification of the body is pending, but is believed to be that of a missing man.

The man was reported missing on December 11 after family members did not hear from the individual for several days. Deputies say they found his roommate driving the missing man’s car today.

Homicide detectives say the roommate confessed to killing the missing man and led authorities to his body in the 600 block of Willow Timber Driver.
