Home invasion suspect in custody after standoff in Crosby

CROSBY (FOX 26) - A man has surrender to deputies after a standoff at a Crosy residence that lasted nearly 5 hours.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office is responded to a suspect barricaded in a home at FM 1315 and FM 1942 in Crosby.

The incident started around 11:30 Friday morning.

Deputies called out their "High Risk Operation Unit" to a scene where a male broke into home and barricaded himself inside.

He allegedly told the residents to "get out".

The man was taken into custody around 5 Friday afternoon.
