Galveston police investigate man's death along Seawall Blvd

Galveston police are investigating the death of a man who was found unconscious with apparent head injuries along Seawall Blvd.

Police were called to the 2700 block of Seawall Blvd around 1:40 a.m. Sunday after receiving reports of the injured man near the roadway.

Officers performed life-saving measures until EMS arrived and transported him to the hospital, where he died, police say.

Police are still investigating what caused the man’s injuries.
