An elderly woman was stabbed inside her apartment, possibly while she was in the shower, and her attacker is on the run. Houston police responded to the Brittany Place Apartments in the Timber Grove neighborhood this morning. 

The autopsy of the child found in a Texas City Bayou is now complete. We do not yet have an official cause of death, but the Galveston County Medical Examiner does believe it is the body of two-year-old Hazana Anderson.

The jury is still deliberating in the second murder trial against Terry Thompson. He's charged with killing John Hernandez in a Denny's parking lot last year.

People living in the Wheeler homeless encampment under Highway 59 near Midtown were kicked out this morning. The City of Houston fenced off the area.
