Houston native Jason Spindler, who was killed during a terror attack at a hotel complex in Nairobi, Kenya, was laid to rest on Thursday. 

Texas City ISD is mourning the tragic death of 15-year-old Jason Trevino. He died on Thursday morning after he was struck by a train shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday. His family said he was heading home, pushing his bike across the tracks like he always does, when the train hit him.

New fallout to report on the voter-approved pay parity for firefighters that was opposed by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner as "too costly." FOX 26 News has learned that there are firefighter cadets who have graduated from the academy, but are not being sworn in by the City of Houston.
