Father fights back, stops carjacking

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A family was attacked by carjackers last night as they arrived home around 1:00 A.M. Two men, wearing ski masks walked up and demanded the car at gunpoint.The man fearing for the safety of his wife and young child, fought with the would-be carjackers, and was shot in the leg.

The suspects did not take the car, but ran away on foot. The father was taken to Ben Taub in serious but stable condition
