HOUSTON - The family of a man reported missing in June 2024 will be gathering this weekend to celebrate his birthday.

What we know:
Robert Bond's loved ones are asking the public to join them to honor him this Saturday, January 18, in New Caney at the Bull Sallas Park located at 21675 McCleskey Road.
The 40-year-old vanished more than seven months ago, and his family continues to search for answers to his disappearance.

Timeline:
In October, the search for Robert Bond led authorities to execute a search warrant in the home of a Houston attorney where Bond was last seen.
Houston Attorney Sean Kennedy and Kennedy's wife were arrested.

He was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Kennedy's wife was charged with credit card abuse/possession of fraudulent information.
What's next:
According to the Texas Center for the Missing, digital billboards will highlight his case across the greater Houston area to help raise awareness in hopes that the public will have information about his disappearance.
