F.B.I. Houston investigating armored guard robbery

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Update:

FBI Houston is looking for two suspects who robbed an armored guard this morning.

The robbery happened around 10:51 a.m. at the Sol Supermarket and Taqueria located at 7200 Lyons Avenue in east Houston.

Two armed men approached a Brink's armored guard as he was making a delivery to a Money Gram machine inside the store.  The suspects got away with a an undisclosed amount of cash and the bag the guard was carrying.

They got away in a dark-colored Sports Utility Vehicle that was believed to be occupied by a getaway driver.

As always, Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering an up to $5,000 reward for information leading to the identity and arrest of those involved.
