Do we need a modern Martin Luther King Jr.?

Fifty years ago today, the world lost an icon of the civil rights movement.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee.

His message is still the driving force in conversations about racism in our country—and the country still shines a light on his legacy.
