Dive team locates body in manhole in north Houston
A Houston Police Department dive team located a body in a manhole in north Houston.
The body was found near Beltway 8 and the Hardy Toll Road.
Police says Texas Equusearch was conducting a search in the area for a missing man whose truck was found nearby. Volunteers with the search team found an open manhole and called police.
A dive team responded to the scene and located the body of a male about 20 to 30 feet from the opening.
The medical examiner will determine the male's identity and cause of death.
