What they're saying:

A close friend, Crystal Beasley, said she met Alisha Parker while they were in prison. Beasley said they were so close, they considered each other sisters.

"I have witnessed him and Alisha have many arguments. However, Alisha, her words are her punches. So I can see her saying something to him that provoked him," said Beasley.

Beasley describes Alisha as a funny, smart, and religious woman who always helped her family in a time of need.

"Her brother and her sister, and her son, she helped them. Girl would do anything to make sure they were clothed, they were fed, and they were housed. Anything. And that’s what I don’t understand. You bit the hand that fed you," said Beasley.
