27 additional cases dismissed related to former officer Gerald Goines

The Harris County District Attorney has made the unprecedented move to begin dismissing 27 active criminal court cases. Those cases involved former Houston Police Department narcotics officer Gerald Goines. He was relived of duty and then retired after Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas were killed in a January drug raid.

Investigators believe Goines lied on the warrant to raid the home that Tuttle and Nicholas shared. District Attorney Kim Ogg says she is moving to dismiss the other non-related cases that Goines worked on because he lacks credibility.

Attorneys Oliver Brown and Jason Rowe discuss the dismissal of the cases with Isiah Carey.
