2 Houston teens sue schools to freely protest Pledge of Allegiance

There are two Houston area teen girls fighting for their right not to stand for the pledge.

In the latest development, a federal judge has allowed the lawsuit filed by a 17-year-old student who once attended Klein ISD to move forward. That's after the district tried to have the case dismissed.  The student is now in college. Her attorneys allege she was harassed, bullied, and targeted because of her stance. This case mirrors India Landry's case where she says she was also punished at Cy-Fair ISD for not standing for the pledge.

On the Factor to talk about this is attorney Randall Kalinen who represents the 17-year-old former Klein ISD student, India Landry who sued Cy-Fair ISD for the same reason and her mother Kizzie.
