11-year-old shot twice in northeast Houston, suspects left the scene: HPD
HOUSTON - An investigation is underway near Cloverleaf in northeast Houston after a juvenile boy was shot and hospitalized in a possible home invasion.

What we know:
Houston Police Department Lieutenant Horelica reports officers and Houston Fire Department units responded to a shooting on 604 Grand Oaks in the Hidden Forest subdivision.
They found an 11-year-old boy suffering from two gunshot wounds. He was taken to a nearby trauma center in critical condition and is expected to survive, Lt. Horelica said.
According to officials, two suspects described as Hispanic male and female, walked up to the front of the home and began shooting.
The two then went to the back of the house, shooting into another bedroom. They even went inside the home while shooting and then left, officials report.

At the time, a grandmother, mother, and her teenage daughter, and son were at the home.
Lt. Horelica says no property was taken and HPD is classifying it as a home invasion.
What we don't know:
At this time, officials do not know the motive behind the shooting.
