Ever catch your cat looking at you funny? Ever think they are trying to work things out in a plot to kill you?
If you believe a study by researchers at the University of Edinburgh that just might be going through their heads. And it could happen, well, if they were a bit bigger that is.
The study rated cats as highly expressing "dominance, impulsiveness and neuroticism" out the "Big Five" human personality traits.
But the good news is that domestic cats also get high marks in being playful and excitable.
They concluded that the aggression and neurotic behavior of domestic cats could be compared to that of larger felines.
The study was done in cooperation with the Bronx Zoo.
