Tropical Depression 19 intensifies into Tropical Storm Rina

MIAMI (AP) - Tropical Storm Rina has formed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The storm has winds at speeds of 40 mph which is moving north at 7 mph. It poses no threat to land as it moves away from the United States and is not expected to develop into a hurricane.

Before it was named Tropical Storm Rina, the system was the 19th tropical depression of the Atlantic hurricane season.
