Houston weather: Quiet week ahead
Houston weather: Sept. 28 evening forecast
Dry and pleasant conditions are expected to persist through the new week.
Refreshing mornings, afternoons still warm
HOUSTON - Weather in the Houston area continues to be clear and dry thanks to light winds from the northeast.
Early mornings will dip into the 60s inland, with coastal areas staying slightly warmer. By afternoon, highs should top out near 90, but lower humidity keeps things feeling comfortable most of the day.
Lower humidity decrease our chances of rain but increase our risk for fire danger. Avoid activities that could start a fire, never leave a burn unattended, and if you see a fire report it to law enforcement.
Similar weather continues for a week
Dry and pleasant conditions are expected to persist through the week.
Nights will remain clear and pleasant inland while daytime highs should stay in the upper 80s and low 90s.
The chance for ozone air pollution continues with an Ozone Action Day for Monday. This phenomenon is very common on sunny days with light winds, so there could be more this week. It is mainly a concern for people with very sensitive lungs.
Rain chances will increase moving into the weekend.
