An excessive heat warning is in effect for the Houston area on Wednesday. FOX 26 Meteorologist Lena Maria Arango gives an update.
The heat wave across Texas continues with an Excessive Heat Warning in effect through 8 p.m.

There is a slight chance for a few storms late today and a better chance either overnight or early tomorrow.
Other than a brief cool-down from brief storms, our heat wave will continue with a very hot, mostly dry pattern for this weekend through early July!
