Tuesday looks like another beauty December day across Houston. Look for temperatures to start in the 40s and afternoon highs in the 60s with partly cloudy skies. Big changes to the forecast starting on Wednesday due to an area of low pressure moving up the Texas coastline. This brings a rainy pattern to Houston for the rest of the week. Our weather should stay unsettled with mostly cloudy skies and daily change for showers and isolated storms through the weekend.

The holiday weekend ends with very seasonal temperatures and a dry forecast. Partly cloudy skies are expected Sunday and more quiet weather starts the workweek. A disturbance along the Texas coast will bring rain chances back to the forecast midweek. Temperatures also increase and less stable air remains around Southeast Texas through the end of the week.

It?s another chilly start on this small business Saturday. Wake up temperatures in some cities have reached the lowest so far this season. Mostly sunny skies make way for highs to reach the mid-60s today. Southeast Texas remains dry and cool this weekend. A disturbance along the Texas coast will bring a rise in rain chances midweek. Temperatures and humidity will also increase by the middle and end of next week. Today is the last day of the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane season. There were 18 names storms, 11 hurricanes and 5 major. This was a very impactful season along the Gulf Coast with 5 land falling hurricanes. This was also the second costliest season on record in the Atlantic. Black Friday is here and the temperatures have been chilly all day long. Get ready for another cool night with temperatures dropping to the 30s for some N/NW of Houston and likely 40s in the Houston area. Weekend weather looks quiet if you are hanging out in H-Town or flying out of Bush or Hobby airports. It will be partly cloudy this weekend, with temperatures remaining below normal in the 60s during the afternoon. Overnight lows will remain in the 40s for Houston. A disturbance is expected to develop near south Texas and move over our area by the middle of next week bringing us a 70% chance for rain by Wednesday. It will get a bit warmer by late next week with temperatures climbing back to the middle 70s by Thursday and Friday. Nationally, you may run into some travel delays up around the Great Lakes where heavy lake effect snow is likely. We have a chilly start for Black Friday shoppers this morning. We?re waking up to the 30s and 40s across southeast Texas. Highs today will be in the low 60s with mostly clear skies and a northeasterly breeze. Chilly temperatures continue through the weekend with dry skies. Next best chance to see measurable rain will be by the middle of next week. An increase in humidity is expected and temperatures will be back to the 70s. A cold front arrived early this morning and chilly weather will stick around through the weekend. High temperatures will remain below normal in the 60s with lows in the 40s for Houston.
