Black Friday is here and the temperatures have been chilly all day long. Get ready for another cool night with temperatures dropping to the 30s for some N/NW of Houston and likely 40s in the Houston area. Weekend weather looks quiet if you are hanging out in H-Town or flying out of Bush or Hobby airports. It will be partly cloudy this weekend, with temperatures remaining below normal in the 60s during the afternoon. Overnight lows will remain in the 40s for Houston. A disturbance is expected to develop near south Texas and move over our area by the middle of next week bringing us a 70% chance for rain by Wednesday. It will get a bit warmer by late next week with temperatures climbing back to the middle 70s by Thursday and Friday. Nationally, you may run into some travel delays up around the Great Lakes where heavy lake effect snow is likely.
