Houston severe weather outlook at 10 a.m.

This morning's outlook from the Storm Prediction Center shows that our entire area is under a slight to moderate threat for storms that could produce hail, damaging winds or even isolated tornadoes. FOX 26 Chief Meteorologist Mike Iscovitz has a look at the risk and timing of the storms.

Houston weather: Severe weather possible on Saturday

For now, plan on rain nearly everywhere in the Houston area on Saturday. The Storm Prediction Center has put most of our viewing area in a 2/5 risk for heavy rain, strong winds, hail and the chance for isolated tornadoes. Biggest severe storm risk for Houston will likely be during Saturday afternoon, so plan ahead.

Houston weather: Warm and windy Friday in the 80s

It's the Final Four in San Antonio this weekend so if you're planning on heading out on I-10 after work on Friday, just know a line of thunderstorms is moving in into Saturday morning. Skies will be mostly cloudy Friday, with temps in the upper-80s. A Wind Advisory is in effect in the Houston-area again for Friday until 7 p.m.
